This is just a surprisingly good whiskey! I read about it years ago. But when I went to another trip to Ireland in 2018 I had my first chance to try it in a neat little Pub in Roundstone, Connemara. When the lady brought the glass (tumbler) to our table we could smell the sweetness of the whiskey right away. I then tried it and I loved it! This was the first bottle ever that I have bought two of. Hopefully there will be another batch someday.
Guys, What are you playing at? I drank this for the first time this weekend, douped into thinking it was a high end brand then to find out it's a 27 euro bottle. Good god, this is amazing. So smooth with all the characteristics of a Jameson 12 or 15/year old or Middleton 15. Stunning.
Guys, this is a wonderful Irish whiskey. Very smooth, but has a some wonderful Islay, peat moss characteristics. I have enjoyed this year after year on St. Patties Day in Ontario Canada. I always reserve a bottle. If you are a scotch fan, enjoy peat and want to try something a little different I PROMISE you that you will very much enjoy this nice whiskey.
