This is a sherry cask matured Japanese Single Malt Whisky from Yamazaki. Rather than blending a selection of different cask types together, Yamazaki have just selected whisky matured in ex-Sherry casks for a rich, fruity style.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

A classic Sherry cask nose of raisins, sultanas and chocolate with candied orange peel, cinnamon and nutmeg following. The palate is fairly spicy with notes of mixed spice, nuts and cacao leading into a long, dry fruit forward finish.
