Wild Turkey Rye Bottling Note

A rye whiskey from Wild Turkey, bottled at 101 US Proof. This was awarded a silver medal at the 2007 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and it has an incredibly spicy, rich flavour.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Rum spices and oak. Some cedar wood, rye spice and dried herbs. Potpourri, dough and rum and raisin ice-cream.

Palate: Very rich and intense with notes of vanilla, charred oak, corn oil, charcoal and candy floss.

Finish: Big and spicy, very long finish with notes of very well-aged rum and vanilla.
