Whisky 4 Movember 4 Bottling Note
The Walrus: A huge, impressively bushy and bulbous thatch, which often hangs down over both lips, covering the entire mouth. Notable examples include the irrepressible Dick Strawbridge and Australian fast bowler, Merv Hughes. Useful insulation in the winter months and a particularly handy place to hide one’s contraband.
The nose offers strong honeyed aromas, beautiful traces of grassy heather and wonderfully thick malt with shades of coastal air. The palate is like a mouthful of warm, heather honey. Buttery toffee and juicy barley coerce one another into a warming finale of spicy butterscotch, with honey and butter melting into a slice of granary toast.
