Worldwide Whiskey - Bourbon - 2013
International Wine & Spirit Competition
What's in a name? Hudson Baby Bourbon whiskey is called whiskey because it's produced in America. Were it from Scotland it would be spelled Hudson Baby Bourbon whisky, rather than whiskey.
color: deep ruby amber
nose: sharp grain, some oak
palate: very gentle, sweet delivery. Oily texture. A hint of mint and licorice.
This is 100% corn whisky. There is no rye bite that is typical in a Kentucky bourbon. This is an easy drinking "session dram". I wish they put it in full bottles.
