Whiskey or Whisky
Insider knowledge: Tullamore Dew whiskey is named whiskey by virtue of the fact it's from Ireland. If distilled in Scotland the spelling would be Tullamore Dew whisky, as opposed to whiskey.
Tullamore Dew Bottling Note
The 'Dew' in Tullamore Dew comes from the initials of a General Manager at the Tullamore distillery in the later 19th Century, named Daniel E Williams.

The nose is fruity and biscuity. There are gristy notes with caramel and toffee sweetness and plenty of peels. The palate is of good body with notes of sherried peels and spice, granary toast with butter and honey, grains and vanilla cream. The finish is quite vegetal and long with notes of caramel and toffee.
How do they dew it?
Had this all the time when in Ireland on holiday, they love it over there, and rightly so, it's really smooth, nice and spicy.
