What's in a name? Tobermory 10 Year Old (Old Bottling) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Tobermory 10 Year Old (Old Bottling) whiskey, rather than whisky.
I bought this as a gift - imagine my surprise when I got it back! Clearly the intended recipient knew not what he had received, for the outer box looks as if it might have come from Aldi - if only my friend had looked inside he may have realised this was not a £7 bottle of firewater! Well presented, smooth and really nice to drink. :)
