A 15 year old blended whisky from the New Zealand Whisky Company, matured initially in ex-bourbon barrels before enjoying a long finishing period in French oak ex-New Zealand red wine barrels.
Can't get over the tartness of it. I've tried it numerous times and can't seem to get into it. It just tastes weird.
Deliciously sweet with a lovely Pinot finish. Honey, maple, vanilla bean, delicious richness. Strong bourbon character. Very easy to drink.
