The nose is rich and fragrant. There are notes of burnt fruits steeped in rum. Hints of malmsey and caramel with notes of charred oak with the spices, pepper and smoke thereof. The are notes of soft, gentle peat. The palate is full and rich. There are notes of apple peel and soft apple. The cereal notes offer a subdued sweetness with notes of cream and honey and a fresh blossom note. The finish is long with peels and soft smoke.
