The Irishman is a beautiful blended whiskey, bottled at natural cask strength (unusual for Irish whiskeys) in 2010. Jim Murray gave the previous edition a whopping 93.5 points in his Whiskey Bible - we expect great things from the 2010 release!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A fruity, tangy nose with notes of cut hay, creamy vanilla and sweet citrus.

Palate: Fruity and tropical with notes of coconut, pineapple and citrus developing. A touch of guava, cereal sweetness and marzipan late palate.

Finish: Creamy, notes of oak, dried fruits and allspice.

Christmas will never be as good.

I was lucky enough to have a bottle of this very fine whisky given to me for Christmas. It is, by far, the best that I have ever had the privilege to drink. Many thanks to the Irishman Distillery.
