Nose: Malt and oak upfront, this whisky is surprisingly youthful though, despite its 28 years! Hints of potpourri, musty orange and fresh herbs. Something vaguely menthol-like too!
Palate: Sweet and viscous, lots of cut hay, fresh fruit, malt and chamomile tea. A little peppermint, toasted barley and aniseed.
Finish: Malt, hay and fruit, a little lime zest and toffee.
