Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Malt and oak upfront, this whisky is surprisingly youthful though, despite its 28 years! Hints of potpourri, musty orange and fresh herbs. Something vaguely menthol-like too!
Palate
Sweet and viscous, lots of cut hay, fresh fruit, malt and chamomile tea. A little peppermint, toasted barley and aniseed.
Finish
Malt, hay and fruit, a little lime zest and toffee.
