Strathmill 24 Bottling Note

Distilled at Strathmill in 1986, this beautiful whisky was aged for 24 years in cask 10222 before bottling by Adelphi in 2011. This had an out-turn of 168 bottles, all at natural cask strength.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Perfumed and fruity. Notes of figs, dates and sticky toffee pudding, hints of honey, herbs and even a tinge of lavender. Very interesting.

Palate: Fruity and spiced with notes of star anise, red berry fruits, toffee and malt. There are hints of bitter oak, banana skins, turmeric and some green tea too.

Finish: Toffee, fruit and lots of gripping oak.
