“Color: golden Nose: fruit. some floral notes with water. palate: soft and fruity delivery then quite spicy at mid-palate. It has the very light smoky character typical of Springbank malts. Finish: long, spicy and satisfying. This is excellent whisky. Springbank fans should seek this malt. ”

Description
Distilled in April 2000, this Springbank single malt matured for a total of 12 years, beginning with six years in bourbon casks and six more in fresh Calvados casks before it was bottled in October 2012.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Green apples, pears and limes arrive on the nose first followed by rhubarb and grapes on the palate with a hint of brine and peat smoke. The finish is long and robust with notes of gooseberries and stewing citrus fruits. This Springbank shows off the Calvados cask well and has a lovely oiliness on the palate.
