Longrow 11 Rundlets Bottling Note

This is the second release from Springbank's Rundlets and Kilderkins range. This is a 2001 vintage Longrow, aged for 11 years in small 60 and 80 litre casks. The result of this is an increased spiciness in the finished spirit.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Hints of soft smoke and pine needles. Overripe grape, tangy crisp green apples. A touch of treacle and malt.

Palate: Sweet, creamy malt with huge spices. Soft peat smoke, custard apples, cooked fruit and dried peels. Peppery.

Finish: Black pepper and molasses, allspice and hints of smoke.
