Lochnagar 23 Bottling Note

A single cask from the Highland distillery, Royal Lochnagar. This was distilled in October 1986 and matured for 23 years in cask number 949 before bottling in January 2010. A release of 214 bottles, bottled by Duncan Taylor.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Gentle smoke, full, espresso beans, creamy, oak, cigar boxes.
Palate: Fruity, intense with honeydew melon, orchard fruits, cut hay, hints of peat smoke. Good body.
Finish: Becomes dry, reasonable length, woody and fruity.
