A single cask from the Highland distillery, Royal Lochnagar. This was distilled in October 1986 and matured for 23 years in cask number 949 before bottling in January 2010. A release of 214 bottles, bottled by Duncan Taylor.
Gentle smoke, full, espresso beans, creamy, oak, cigar boxes.
Fruity, intense with honeydew melon, orchard fruits, cut hay, hints of peat smoke. Good body.
Becomes dry, reasonable length, woody and fruity.
