Port Dundas 34 1978 Bottling Note

A single cask grain whisky distilled at Port Dundas in 1978. This incredible spirit was aged for a whopping 34 years in refill hogshead 8001 before bottling for Duncan Taylor's Clan Denny range at natural cask strength.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sweet, spiced nose with notes of custard apples, toasted oak and coffee beans.

Palate: A rich, sweet palate with nutmeg, Demerara sugar, calves leather and cedar. Toffee develops.

Finish: Long finish, particularly so for a grain whisky, with leather and cinnamon notes on the tail.
