Port Dundas 30 1982 Bottling Note

A wonderful old single cask grain whisky from Douglas Laing's Director's Cut range. This was distilled in February 1982 and aged for 30 years in refill hogshead 8416 before bottling in April 2012. A release of 207 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A warming and spiced nose with vanilla, porridge oats, lavender and pepper. Hints of toffee apples.

Palate: Dried berry fruits, coffee with steamed milk and vanilla syrup, a little toffee apple, cinnamon and fudge.

Finish: Herbal finish with pear drops, mandarin and chocolate orange.
