Fruity with chocolatey touches. Sweet, jammy and creamy with some toffee and wood spice.
Rounded and warming with more sweet, rich fruit and plum wine.
Sweet goji berries and caramel.

Got this as a present as was keen to try it. What a lovely drop! Nice sweet note to it. My wife really likes it and she isnt a whisky person but loved it with a splash of water. She insisted I replaced it when it was done. No hardship.bottle lock oks lovely too.
Wow! Having just finished two bottles of MacAllan (entry level), I bought a coupe of bottles of this beauty…hard to describe why, but I’m absolutely loving this whiskey. Just works for me, and at under £60 is an absolute steal.
My first Welsh whisky..and OMG! what a revelation .A bit raw on the outside, then warm, smooth and strong..glad I have two bottles.
We visited Penderyn in Llandudno and came away with our own bottle from the cask plus a bottle of Rich oak wood and Sherrywood. Have got Portwood now. The description on this site is very accurate and I think my new favourite- of course it means that I have to have a new tasting session!
Light & smooth. Easy drinking. Would have liked a stronger port taste coming through for me.
