A delicious smoky blended malt, this is a blend of 16 year old single malt and 12 year old Islay malt, and it offers oodles of peaty complexity. A delicious whisky from Wemyss Malts.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Smoky and sweet, lapsang souchong, honey and gingernut biscuits.
Palate
Citrus zest, lime juice, thick peat smoke, chilli and nutmeg, toasty barley and oak.
Finish
Peat smoke and lemon drops. Very rich.
