What's in a name? Old Pulteney Isabella Fortuna WK499 1l whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Old Pulteney Isabella Fortuna WK499 1l whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Aromatic and perfumed with hints of bergamot, coconut, tropical fruits, butterscotch, toffee apples and malt.
Palate: Silky smooth, notes of lush fruit and toasty oak. Some malt, apricots and plums.
Finish: Cinnamon spices, malty and toasty.
No complexity. Simple whisky for a simple palate. Pass on this an most Pulteney as they are just not that good.

i found this in Duty free on Jersey and bought it to try. The whisky has a pale colour and a very smooth taste with no afterburn. This unfortunately makes it very easy to drink and I am now wishing I had bought two bottles, one to explore and one to relax and enjoy. Would certainly recommend it to malt lovers everywhere.
