Interesting fact… Old Pulteney Isabella Fortuna WK499 1l whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Old Pulteney Isabella Fortuna WK499 1l whiskey, instead of whisky.
Nose: Aromatic and perfumed with hints of bergamot, coconut, tropical fruits, butterscotch, toffee apples and malt.
Palate: Silky smooth, notes of lush fruit and toasty oak. Some malt, apricots and plums.
Finish: Cinnamon spices, malty and toasty.
i found this in Duty free on Jersey and bought it to try. The whisky has a pale colour and a very smooth taste with no afterburn. This unfortunately makes it very easy to drink and I am now wishing I had bought two bottles, one to explore and one to relax and enjoy. Would certainly recommend it to malt lovers everywhere.
