Made with mostly refill casks, the result is a whisky that was allowed to mature at its own leisure. Gentle and filled with flavour, Old Pulteney 30 is a very good whisky indeed.

Most aged scotches I've tasted have had a long burn down my throat when I drank them. This surprisingly didn't have any burn, and seemed very thick. Is this normal for a 30 year old?
A well intentioned gift from a loved one, but a big disappointment. Not worth the price tag at all. It lacks any interesting character you'd expect from something this old and pricey. This should be a 30 dollar scotch, not a 30 year.
Well I finally had my 30 year old Pulteney and It was one of the best experience's I've had. Both my son and I drank this wonderful scotch on my birthday and had the best experience ever. I may purchase a second bottle to drink next month.I would truly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience a beautiful drink.
To celebrate my 70th birthday in February,I decided to purchase a very special scotch.I researched many of the available scotch's and picked this one.I have no idea how this will taste but I'm expecting a beautiful experience.I just can't wait.( I'll be back in February to let you know of my experience )
