A cask strength, 22 year old Mortlach from Duncan Taylor's Rare Auld range. This was distilled in September 1989 and was aged in cask 4036 before bottling in October 2011. A release of 317 bottles.
Cocoa, perfume, juniper, malt, hints of beeswax, manuka honey, pepper, calves leather.
Hot, spicy and rich. Notes of beeswax again, dried apricots, spice and pepper.
Spices, pepper and apple peel.
