This was distilled at Mortlach on the 5th July 1995 before a 16 year maturation in two hogsheads (Numbers 4086 and 4087). It was bottled on the 16th January 2012 for Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered Collection, and there are just 729 numbered bottles in existence.
Caramel and toffee apples, notes of cooked banana, ginger, a little cocoa and wood ash.
Creamy and malty. Marmalade, buttered toast, apple peels, juicy barley and cream.
Good length. Notes of marzipan on the tail.
