The nose is quite full and rich. There are notes of juicy berry fruits and the liqueurs made thereof: kirshwasser, fraise des bois and maraschino. There are some notes of citrus with malty barley and a touch of woody oiliness. The charred oak notes develop with hints of winter spice. The palate is quite full and well-balanced. There are notes of damson jam and more of those fruit liqueurs. Rubbed petals emerge with a fruity sponge character and granary toast with honey and a little crème de cacao.
