A delicious single cask Linkwood, distilled in Speyside in 1984, and aged for 26 years in cask 5269 before bottling in 2011 by Adelphi. An out-turn of 216 cask strength bottles.
Berry fruits, strawberry jam, redcurrants, winter spice, chocolate and malt. A little marmalade on toast.
Malty and sweet, some spicy oak, mint, vanilla and forest floor.
Good length: fruity and spice on the finish.
