Tobermory
Scotland
Single Malt

Peaty releases from the Tobermory distillery are bottled under the name Ledaig (pronounced Led-chig). Ledaig is Gaelic for 'safe haven'. This was finished in sherry casks.
The nose rather light with a touch of richness. There are notes of sultanas and peels, hints of straw and barley sugar with cereal notes and a touch of malt extract with a light sherried note. The palate is a little fuller and well-balanced. There are notes of straw and sherried peels with barley sugar and a honeyed note. The finish is quite long with a fresh note and some dried peels.
