Kilchoman Spring 2011 Bottling Note

Released in Spring of 2011, this is the 6th official release from Kilchoman, and it was created by vatting three and four year old casks of whisky (all first and refill bourbon).

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sweet with lots of fruity and tangy peat. Young with notes of charcoal, wood embers, old ropes, porridge and hints of acetone.

Palate: Sweet and robust with oily peat and tangy fruit. Notes of salt spray, wood shavings, pears and peat.

Finish: Lots of smoke, brine and tar, with hints of caramel.
