A very rare 12 year old Karuizawa, bottled for the Japanese market. This has a lot of interesting flavour to it, with some smoke and stone fruit. Earthy too…

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Apricots, sultanas, dates and notes of lemon sherbet. This is very malty and rich with notes of smoke, toffee and custard.

Palate: Hints of peat with notes of the forest floor, pine resin, oak, vanilla and soot.

Finish: Quite short, with coal tar soap and musty woodsheds.
