A very special edition of Johnnie Walker's legendary Blue Label. King George V was released originally for the travel retail market, this release commemorates the Royal Warrant bestowed to the company in 1934.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A mix of heady toffee apple and very faint smoke. Thick, syrupy malt, digestive biscuits, oak.

Palate: Soft, buttery toffee and general fruitiness. Medium bodied, but very malty and well-constructed blend.

Finish: Golden syrup, creamy spices and malt on the finish.

i bought a bottle of this king george on my last holiday. i have been a bit timid of opening it, thinking of i might not like it, or get another. i have opend it tonight. WOW. i have suppep half of it rapid style. i came straight on her to look if i could get another, and bingo, here it is. i love the malty taste it leaves in my mouth. the first dram was a bit firey i thought, but after that, well, what can one say. you have got to try it to believe it. i will be ordering another very soon. ps, dont ever add anything to a good whisky.

Stronger version of regular blue, not as spicy & dry. Smoother!

this was the best johnnie walker i have ever tasted. smooth and full of flaver. it was worth a christmas gift! hope i can find it in Korea.
