Highland Park 1998 Bottling Note

This was launched in April 2010 for the Travel Retail market, and is a full litre bottling of 1998 vintage Highland Park. Lots of fruit and manuka honey, and aged for 12 years in American bourbon oak.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sweet, heady nose with thick honey, apricot conserve, pepper and cut hay. Gingernuts, malt.

Palate: Aromatic and honeyed, vanilla sweetness, oak, peppermint, a touch of tasted oak, heather honey, walnut and nutmeg.

Finish: Spiced and sweet, malty.
