An 8 year old single malt from Glenturret, the home of Famous Grouse - Scotland's favourite blended whisky.
The nose is quite soft and subtle with notes of wood shavings and a distinct mustiness. Notes of Eastern spices and zesty marmalade. A solid maltiness combines well with the tannins and the dark nuttiness. The palate is quite light-bodied and subtle with a good sweetness. Notes of beeswax and perfume with a solid oak and cut hay. The finish is of moderate length with a solid oak on the tail.
