The nose is full of cereal and toasted granary notes. Hints of peels and fruit, a touch of toffee and beeswax with a herbal quality and vanilla fudge. The palate is supple and sumptuous. Notes of tangy oaken spice with well-balanced tannins. Notes of fruit and stemmy cut hay, a touch of honeyed sweetness and a wonderful mouth feel. The finish is long with toffee and hay.
