The nose is full of dried peels and honeyed notes. A little aniseed with thick toffee and malty barley. Some liquorice, notes of soft acidity and rich oak with a syrupy feel. The palate is rich and fruity. Notes of blossom and floral honey, hints of liquorice and a marmalade and a solid sugary sweetness. The finish is long and sherried with a touch of smoke.
