There are not many bottles of old Glentauchers around so this one from Signatory might not be about long. Released as part of the Cask Strength Collection.
Spicy, with dried fruits, sweet peel, creamy porridge oats and berry fruit (particularly greengages).
Oaky, with lots of dried fruit - sultanas in particular, but plums too. There are hints of spice, pronounced malt, with aniseed and pepper.
Spicy and of good length with oak and vanilla cream.
A spicy old Glentauchers, very good.
