Glenrothes 1982 Bottling Note

A superb 1982 vintage from Glenrothes, distilled on the 17th April and bottled 14 years later on the 20th August 1996. The distillers describe this as "Ripe, fruity. Vanilla notes." Sounds good to us!

This is a rare old bottling and so there is some light damage to the paper tab over the stopper.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Spiced and fragrant nose, notes of marmalade, honey and cinnamon.

Palate: Custard apples, rhubarb crumble, sweet vanilla and spices. Creamy and sweet with notes of red berries and digestive biscuits.

Finish: Good length - orange zest and malt on the tail.
