Glenrothes 41 Bottling Note

Aged for 41 years, this was distilled in 1969, and was bottled at natural cask strength by Duncan Taylor for their prodigious Peerless range. A fantastic whisky with masses of character.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Berry fruits and cocoa butter. Hints of burnt sugar, molasses and woodsheds. Honey, berry fruits and marmalade.

Palate: Thick and fruity with notes of custard, black pepper, orange marmalade, fresh flowers and spices.

Finish: Rich and spicy, vanilla, orange zest and star anise.
