Glenrothes 1987 Dimensions Bottling Note

A spicy, warming single cask Glenrothes from the Dimensions series. This was distilled in May 1987 and was aged in cask 5840 for 24 years before bottling in March 2012. A release of 193 numbered bottles from Duncan Taylor.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Toffee apples, banana skins and dates. Notes of honey, pastry, dried apricot and black pepper.

Palate: Buttery spices, bourbon, malt and peels. Pear juice, liquorice, salted caramel and cut hay.

Finish: Good length with notes of apple peel and prune.
