A beautifully packaged Glenmorangie. This was made with the single malt distilled using barley from the original floor maltings at Glenmorangie, which have since been closed. A limited edition of 2,000 bottles.
The nose is quite light and fresh with dry hay notes and beeswax. A fruit salad note with balanced acidity and smoked ham. The palate is full and quite sweet. There is a creaminess to the cereal notes with lightly salted butter on toast, a little tiramisu and winter berries. A good malt extract note with soft esters. The finish is long and full of malted barley notes.
