What's in a name? Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Golden Rum Cask whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Golden Rum Cask whiskey, rather than whisky.
I was lucky enough to obtain two bottles of this 3-4 years ago from a friend who used to work for Sainsbury's, they were sold as end of line I paid £7.50 each. I drank one at the time it was fantastic. I retire soon and I will enjoy so lucky me

I received this bottle as a gift when I just started to drink whisky. Loved it so much I drank it straight from the bottle. Couldn't find it in stores till I phoned Glenmorangie and they said it was a special release for Sainsbury's distribution only. Went to my local and bought another for £35. Hoarded it as long as possible but sometimes whisky just needs to be drunk. When I finished they had stopped carrying it. Live and learn.
