Glenlivet 22 Cask 47134 Bottling Note
Single cask Glenlivet. This was distilled in July 1987, matured in cask number 47134 and bottled by Duncan Taylor for their Rare Auld range in February 2010. Part of a release of 429 bottles.
Wood and Fudge
Nose: Chocolate fudge, oaky overtones
Palate: All wood all the time, never had so much wood flavor in such a dram, spice and slight chocolate
Finish: Reminds me of the flavor of a wooden chest in the attic, musty, woodsy with some slight sweetness, toffee perhaps
Impression: Needs cutting to come out but highly recommend, never have predicted this combination of heath bar, fudge and old wood
