Glenkinchie 1986 Bottling Note

A litre bottle of the 1986 Distillers Edition from Glenkinchie. This was finished in Amontillado sherry casks, and offers an interesting nutty dryness. Complex and very tasty.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sherry, almond and hazelnut, some sweet honey, honeydew melon and malt. Touches of dry oak.

Palate: Musty with notes of old woodshed, hazelnut and gentle sherry tones with notes of toasted almond and pine resin.

Finish: Oaky and dry, with some figs and sultanas on the finish.
