Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
The nose is full and rich. There are spicy notes of winter fruitcake and Madeira. Chewy sultanas and dried fruits, thick sherry and a touch of salted butter. There is a nutty oiliness. The palate is rich and of good body. There are notes of chewy oak with a touch of smoke, toasted wood spices emerge with juicy esters and mixed fruits. The finish is long and well-balanced and well-oaked.
