The nose is rich and pungent. Notes of sherried fruits and citrus creeping in. There is a thick sugared peel character with notes of cut herbs and dark toffee. The palate is rich and thick. The sherry is in prominent position with a slight vinous note. A touch of port creeps in with acidic, tannic oak to chew. The finish is long with grape and white wine and a touch of oak as it fades.
