Twenty-nine years old and bottled in 2010 from a hogshead. This is a drinker's whisky, the distinct differences between nose, palate and finish create an fascinating tasting experience.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cedar wood, fruit flavoured tobacco and pounds of hard boiled sweets.
Palate
Tobacco, cumin and nutmeg with a tannic mouthfeel.
Finish
A swift, fruity finish, packing in estery candy quickly and effectively.
Overall
Each segment of the tasting experience is quite separate from one another, allowing the drinker to appreciate each in its own right.
