Glenfarclas Family Cask 1961 Bottling Note

A very Christmas spice rich Glenfarclas, this was distilled in 1961 and matured in single cask 4913, a sherry hogshead, before bottling as part of the 2007 released Family Cask collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: The nose is ripe and rich. Sherried, fruit. Aniseed, crème de cassis. Toffee.

Palate: Spicy. Oak, vanilla. Tight, sherry, crystallized fruit. Sherry.

Finish: Long, oaky, barley.
