A very rich and dark whisky. This was distilled at Glenfarclas in 1957 and matured in cask 2111, a sherry hogshead before a 2007 release as part of the Family Cask range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Firm. Oily wood. Sandalwood, pine. Sherry. Ripe, lush fruit.

Palate: Sherry, fruit. Raisins, Muscovado. Toffee. Oak.

Finish: Very long, oak, tannic, bittersweet with barley and sherry.
