A single cask, cask strength 1992 vintage from Glenfarclas' stellar Family Cask range. This was aged in sherry butt number 861 and was bottled in 2011. George S Grant, the distillery owner, mentions a finish that pertains to Ovaltine!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Buttery and spicy, notes of gingerbread, thick malt, Nice biscuits, almond, maple and spice.

Palate: Rich and creamy with notes of buttery toffee, star anise, apple strudel and nutmeg.

Finish: Long and indeed very malty, plenty of custard too.
