The 7th release of Glenfarclas' 1970 Family Cask. A very tasty and surprisingly fresh whisky for its advanced age.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Thick with a syrupy note of vanilla and fudge. Some higher traces of green apple and clove spice with a hint of cinnamon.

Palate

Surprisingly fresh, with more apple and banana notes alongside deeper toffee and bitter chocolate flavours.

Finish

Quite dry and oaky with more of that bitter chocolate and pepper.
