Sherry
This is a single cask bottling of the Glendronach single malt from a cask filled in 1993 prior to the distillery's temporary closure. This is a heavily sherried style and has been bottled at cask strength.
This Glendronach boasts notes of chocolate cookies and roasted Java coffee beans. The dense aroma leads into a chocolatey palate with persistent chilli spice and a little crystallised ginger. The finish is long and rewarding with intense sherry cask flavours.

Its December. Its -3 outside. This is the best possible drink for the moment. Ok, this stuff aint whisky, its almost a gran reserve solera brandy; the px has given it so much flavour the distilery character is lost, but who cares, its belting. Not much balance her, just loads of nuts, figs, chocolate and winey'ness. A real xmas dram through and through, which is good because thats why i bought it. Forget the sherry after xmas dinner, his bad boy is now coming out.
